Vice President Finance

Job Description

The Vice President, Finance is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the Company’s accounting and financial processes, procedures, and general ledger operations. This role will partner closely with corporate leadership across Finance, Treasury, Tax, Risk Management, and Operations to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. The VP, Finance will play a pivotal role in leading the audit process, maintaining strong internal controls, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and driving the efficiency of monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.

Key Responsibilities

1.     Develop, implement, and continuously improve accounting and financial policies, processes, and controls to support company growth and operational excellence.

2.     Oversee all aspects of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with GAAP and company standards.

3.     Partner with Corporate Finance, Treasury, Tax, Risk Management, and Operations to provide financial insights, enhance decision-making, and support strategic initiatives.

4.     Lead the external audit process, serving as the primary liaison with external auditors to ensure timely and successful completion.

5.     Maintain and strengthen internal control frameworks, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and corporate governance requirements.

6.     Oversee the preparation and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

7.     Drive process improvements for the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close to improve efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.

8.     Collaborate with leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.

9.     Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting and finance team.

Qualifications

1.     CPA designation required.

2.     Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

3.     Proven track record as a Corporate Controller, Division Controller, or equivalent role in a high-performing organization.

4.     In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.

5.     Experience leading complex audits and managing relationships with external auditors.

6.     Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and partner across all levels of the organization.

7.     Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement, operational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration.

8.     Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
