Tax Manager
We are a professional service firm whose principals have experience ranging from 20-50 years serving South Florida. We offer clients a variety of services in accounting, audit, tax, risk management, technology, corporate finance, forensic, valuation and wealth management. We combine the insights and ideas of multiple disciplines to service a wide range of industries, including emerging growth companies, entertainment, healthcare and pharmaceutical, hotels and timeshares, international tax and trade, manufacturing, not-for-profits, private equity and hedge funds, professional service firms, real estate development and construction, restaurants, retail, wholesale and distribution

What You Will Be Doing

  • Prepares and/or Review individual, corporate, partnership, non-profit, trust and estate tax returns
  • Income tax planning projects for individuals and businesses
  • Identify and research tax related matters
  • Foreign tax knowledge
  • Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities
  • Assist in managing, training and mentoring staff to promote efficiency, and to advance continual growth in their skills and knowledge base
  • Build relationships and interact with clients
  • Stay updated on current tax legislation
  • Ability to think outside the box and recommend tax strategies to clients

What You Need for this Position

  • 10+ years experience
  • Licensed CPA
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Ultra Tax
  • Experience with QuickBooks
  • Experience with Checkpoint
