Overview of the Accounts Payable Supervisor Role:

The Accounts Payable Supervisor will oversee and manage the accounts payable team, ensuring efficient invoice processing, assignment, and resolution in a high-volume environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and expertise in Excel to maintain smooth operations and timely invoice management.

Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Supervisor:

• Oversee and manage the invoice assignment process, ensuring tasks are aligned with the queue.
• Monitor and track the status of invoices, including verification of assigned, completed, and new tasks.
• Proactively manage older invoices to ensure timely resolution.
• Supervise incoming purchase orders (POs) and non-PO invoices to maintain seamless operations. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while streamlining accounts payable (AP) processes.
  

Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Supervisor Role:

• 2-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable management or supervision, with a proven track record of leading teams.
• Previous Healthcare or Medical Industry experience is required
• Comfortable with high-volume invoicing in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  
• Expertise in Excel, including proficiency with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously as an AP Supervisor. Ability to collaborate across departments and resolve AP-related issues efficiently.
