Job Description
Insitu has an immediate need for an Accounts Payable contractor to join our team for a 6+ month contract. This role will be responsible for:
- Managing accounts payable using accounting software Costpoint and other programs
- Handling accounts payable for separate vendors
- Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
- Processing due invoices for payments
- Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
- Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
- Processing invoices via the match two and match three process
- Support the month end close process, which may include journal entries and account reconciliations.
Required Education & Experience:
- High School diploma and 2 years of related finance experience.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in an Account Payable role.
- Previous experience with Costpoint or comparable software program.
This role can be a remote / virtual position.
