The Accounting Manager will assist the Corporate Controller in directing the financial activities of dedicated hotels and various other entities, safeguards the assets and prepare all financial reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and appropriate time frames. The ideal candidate would be able to assist with leadership and supervision of entire Accounting team and achievement of department and hotel goals. The position is an in-office position and will report to the satellite office, located in Charlotte, NC. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of effective internal control procedures to safeguard Company's assets (such as but not limited to inventory control, cash drop procedures, F&B check controls...) Monitor proper accounting of assets and liabilities, revenues, and expenses.
