POSITION SUMMARY: The Diocese of Charlotte is seeking a Senior Accountant for our Accounting Department in order to further the wide-ranging work of our ministries, parishes, and schools. Overall, this position will work closely with the Assistant Controller to provide financial support for 3 Diocesan Entities: 1) Central Administration - which reports administrative activities and ministries 2) DL Catholic - which holds funds on deposit from Diocese entities & Parishes and uses these funds to invest for the benefit of the Diocese as well as provide loans as needed 3) Diocese Foundation - which administers funds for endowments created for educational, religious, and charitable purposes.
