Utah Valley University is seeking an Accountant I for the fundraising arm of the institution. Under the general supervision of the Foundation Accountant II, provides accounting support for the UVU Foundation. The primary duties include daily deposits, reconciling accounts, managing the due diligence process for gift-in-kind donations, assisting with weekly and monthly reconciliation of call center and credit card donations, and processing gift agreements. This position will also assist the Foundation Accountant with duties related to the annual audit and accounting for investments.
Summary of Responsibilities
Create deposit logs for all donations received by the foundation, including daily deposits, weekly online donations, and Gifts-in-Kind. Deposit checks, create TouchNet entries, and collect all supporting documentation for donations. Provide logs along with supporting documentation to Gift Processing for recording in Raiser's Edge....
