Job Purpose:
Performs payroll function and maintains employee files and administers employee benefit programs.
Essential job Duties and Responsibilities :
Payroll Function:
Completes all aspects of payroll for the facility; enter associates into the payroll system before the end of the pay period; Enter all employees into the timeclock system. Prepare and submit payroll at the end of each pay period; obtain written authorization for all missed punches; distribute paychecks. Assist employees who have issues with paycheck.
HR/Personnel Function:
Maintain all employee’s personnel folders, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Prepare and maintain all required auditing of said files. Maintain all required records of what insurances an employee has. Assist in associate benefit administration record keeping. Must thoroughly understand and be able to explain to employees all benefits they have available to them....
